Stays Accurate When Real Life Happens

Open lawns are the easy part. Trees, narrow side sections, and changing light are what test navigation. The Sunseeker X3 Plus fuses RTK positioning with VSLAM vision to hold a stable path in typical home yards, then follows systematic parallel routes instead of moving randomly.

True Edge Cutting

Less Time Trimming

Edge cutting is where most robot mowers leave a strip behind. The X3 Plus Ride-on-Edge design reaches over borders to cut closer along fences, beds, and hardscapes, so a 0.3-acre yard needs less follow-up trimming and fewer manual touch-ups.

Excellent edging, geofence alarm loud at first

The edge cutting and multi-zone scheduling are superb. The anti-theft alarm startled me until I turned it down. Still an easy four stars.

Thanks Ambrose — the app curve is real for a feature-rich mower. Reach out and we'll help you master zones and edging fast. — SUNSEEKER Tech

No trimmer, no bending, no problem

The part I hated most was edging along the fence on my knees. The offset blade does it automatically now. That feature alone earns five stars.

0.3 acre with flower beds everywhere

My wife plants beds all over and the X3 Plus maps around each one, then edges the borders clean. It handles a fussy layout better than I do.

The offset blade is the whole reason I bought it

Other robots leave a shaggy border. The X3 Plus rides its blade right along the fence and cuts clean. My edges look professionally done now.

Fair point on the geofence alarm volume, Nadine — that's adjustable in the latest firmware. Support can walk you through it. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Reclaimed my Saturday mornings

The hand-edging along the fence used to eat my mornings. The offset blade does it now. Best hours I've gotten back.

Corner lot with endless edges, finally tamed

My yard has sidewalk on two sides and a long fence. The Ride-on-Edge blade cuts right up to all of it — no more hours with a trimmer bent over the walk.

Edging is superb, app has a curve

The offset-blade edging is fantastic; the app took a little patience to learn. Worth it once it clicked.

GPS tracking put my mind at ease

A neighbor had equipment stolen recently, so the GPS tracking and geofence sealed it for me. Nice to know I'd get an alert if it ever left the yard.

Dodged my kid's soccer ball, twice

Watched it calmly steer around a ball left in the grass, then again the next day. The obstacle avoidance is genuinely smart.

Set up zones for the dog run and the lawn

I fenced a dog run and it kept invading my mow. Set them as separate zones and the X3 Plus keeps to each one. Brilliant for a divided yard.

Love it, geofence alarm startled me

The edging and multi-zone scheduling are fantastic. The anti-theft alarm is loud — turned it down and we're good. Still an easy 4.

Edges cleaner than I ever did

My old robot left a shaggy strip along every border. The offset blade on the X3 Plus cuts right up to the edge. Looks professional.

Obstacle avoidance is scary good

Left a garden hose, a watering can, and my kid's scooter out on the lawn as a test. It calmly went around all three. The AI is legit, and the clean fence-line cut is the cherry on top.

No more edging by hand!

The Ride-on-Edge blade cuts right up against my fence and the paver walkway. I used to spend 20 minutes with a string trimmer after every mow — now there's nothing left to trim.

MULTI-ZONE IS A LIFESAVER

clean edges, zero trimming

That offset blade is the real deal. Along the fence line it's a crisp cut. I haven't touched a trimmer in a month.

Multi-zone handling is what won me over

My third of an acre is really three separate patches — front, side, and a fenced back — and I needed something that could treat them as distinct areas. The X3 Plus multi-zone setup let me schedule each one and the AONavi navigation moves between them accurately. Add the Ride-on-Edge cutting along the fence and I've genuinely retired my trimmer. AI obstacle avoidance dodges the kids' soccer balls too instead of grinding over them.

Edge cutting is fantastic, RTK setup took patience

Can't say enough about the Ride-on-Edge blade — my fence line and paver edges look professionally trimmed and I've retired my string trimmer. The one thing I'll flag for buyers: getting the RTK/AONavi positioning dialed in took me a couple tries to find a good spot with clear sky, so give yourself a little setup time. Once it's locked in, the accuracy and multi-zone control are excellent.

Brian — thrilled the edge cut retired your trimmer. You're right that RTK positioning rewards a clear-sky spot, and we're improving the setup guidance to help buyers nail placement on the first try. Appreciate the balanced review. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Love the clean edges, app scheduling has a quirk

The offset blade cutting right along my hardscape with no hand-trimming is exactly why I bought this, and it lives up to it. Multi-zone and the anti-theft GPS are great too. Small nitpick: when I edit a zone's schedule in the app it occasionally doesn't save on the first tap and I have to confirm twice. Minor, but I noticed it.

Vanessa — great to hear Ride-on-Edge is doing the trimming for you. That double-tap-to-save quirk on schedule edits is a bug we can reproduce, and a fix is queued for the next app update. Thanks for reporting it. — SUNSEEKER Tech

The edge cut alone is worth it

Here's what nobody tells you about robot mowers: most of them leave a shaggy 3-inch border along every fence, bed, and driveway because the blade sits inside the wheels, so you STILL have to go out with a trimmer and do the annoying part yourself. The X3 Plus's Ride-on-Edge offset blade actually reaches the boundary. Along my hardscape and the back fence it leaves a line so clean I stopped owning a string trimmer. Add in the multi-zone setup — I've got a front, a back, and a weird side strip all programmed separately — and the AONavi RTK navigation keeps it dead accurate row to row. The AI dodged my dog twice that I saw. And the GPS anti-theft with geofencing gives me real peace of mind leaving it out. This is the first one that eliminated hand-trimming for me, full stop.

Terrence — you nailed the exact problem Ride-on-Edge was built to kill: that shaggy border every other mower leaves behind. Retiring your string trimmer is the highest compliment we get. Thanks for the detailed rundown on zones, navigation, and anti-theft too. — SUNSEEKER Tech

accurate and tidy

The RTK navigation lays down straight, even rows and the edge cut is clean. Exactly what I hoped for on a 0.3 acre lot.

the edge cutting is the real headline

Everybody talks about navigation but for me the killer feature is that offset Ride-on-Edge blade. My yard has a long fence line and a stone retaining wall, and both used to mean 20 minutes of trimming after every single mow. Now the X3 Plus rides the edge and cuts it clean, so I literally do nothing. Multi-zone works, obstacle avoidance is smart, and the GPS anti-theft is a nice bonus, but the no-trimming thing alone justified the purchase for me.

Curtis — the offset blade was built for exactly your long fence and retaining wall, so it's great to hear it's earned back your afternoons. Thanks for the detailed take and for calling out the feature we're proudest of. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Great edger, RTK setup took some patience

Once it's running the Ride-on-Edge cutting is fantastic and my borders look professionally edged. Knocking one star because the initial RTK positioning setup was more finicky than I expected — I had to reposition for a clearer sky view before it locked in reliably. After that, rock solid. Just budget extra time for the first-day setup.

Vanessa — fair feedback, first-day RTK positioning does reward a clear sky view and we can make that clearer upfront. We're improving the setup wizard to flag placement issues earlier, and support is happy to review your spot if it ever drifts. Glad the edges are paying off now. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Peace of mind with the GPS lock

We leave the mower out in a fairly open yard and I was nervous about it walking off. The geofencing and GPS anti-theft settled that — if it leaves the zone I get an alert. Haven't needed it, but I sleep better.

Strong overall, RTK drops near my big oaks

Let me lead with the good: the edge cutting and multi-zone are excellent and it's clearly a capable machine. My three-star reason is practical — I have a row of tall oaks near the house and the RTK signal drops in that corner, so it occasionally pauses or drifts until it re-acquires. I ended up repositioning the base station to a more open spot which helped a lot, but figuring that out took some trial and error. I'd also caution folks with steep wet slopes to watch traction on damp days. Fixable stuff, just wanted to be honest about the learning process.

Miguel — thank you for leading with the full picture, and you diagnosed it exactly right. Tall trees near a structure can shadow RTK, and repositioning the base to open sky is the correct fix; our setup guide now calls this out more clearly so folks don't have to trial-and-error it. For damp slopes, scheduling that zone for later in the day when it's drier keeps traction solid. If you'd like, our team can review your base placement with you to squeeze out that last corner. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Very happy, slight app learning curve

Cuts beautifully and the anti-theft gives me peace of mind. The only reason it's not five is the multi-zone app took me a bit to wrap my head around at first — once it clicked it was easy, but the initial setup of separate zones wasn't as intuitive as I expected.

Thanks Nicole — that's honest and useful. The multi-zone flow does have a learning curve on the first setup, and we're simplifying that screen in an upcoming app update. Glad it clicked and that the anti-theft is doing its job. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Skeptic, converted

Didn't believe a robot could edge along a fence without a human finishing it. The Ride-on-Edge proved me wrong on day one. Consider me converted.
