The V3 Dream Machine.

The V3 might not have all the bells and whistles, but it’s exactly what I needed for my Small Backyard. Setup was ridiculously fast and Easy. I had it mowing within 3 to 4 minutes of unboxing. I love that it avoids over 160 obstacles, which is perfect since my Dogs their leave toys everywhere. The slope-climbing ability is better than I expected; it handles the incline areas in my backyard without any slipping it does slow down tho. Its really quiet. At just 55 dB, you cant even hear it mowing, on the first mowing i set the cut depth to 9 then after a few mows i set it down to 5. I also set it to run everyother day from 10am to 11am to make sure the grass is dry from morning dew. The first few times I ran it my cat followed it all over the yard till she finally got bored with it. This is probably the best investment I have ever made. I now have More time to spend with my family.

Works well, support was slow to get back to me

The mower is good and I'd recommend it for a small flat yard like mine. Being honest though — when I had a question about the strip layout around a flower bed, it took a few days to hear back from support. I figured it out myself in the end from a video. The product's solid, I just wish the help had been quicker.

You're right, Wesley, and we're sorry the wait was longer than it should've been. We've added staff to support to bring response times down, and for layout questions our new in-app setup videos cover flower-bed cutouts directly. If anything else comes up, email us and reference this review so we can fast-track you. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Works great, but the strip pegs took some patience

Really happy overall — quiet, simple, cuts my small yard evenly. Only gripe is that pinning the magnetic strip down took me a couple tries to get flush with the ground so the mower wouldn't nudge it. Once it was set, no issues since. Would buy again.

Appreciate the honest note on the strip pegs, Aaron — getting them flush is the one fiddly bit, and your patience note will help other first-timers. Glad it's been smooth since. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Does what I need, budget did the rest

I didn't want to spend a fortune on my 0.15 acre and this hit the sweet spot. The magnetic strip approach felt low-tech in a good way — I could see exactly where the boundary was and adjust it. One button and it just goes.

Good mower, but my yard is right at the edge of its range

Let me start with what's good — it's quiet, setup was genuinely easy, and the cut quality is even. The honest issue is my lot is basically the full 0.15 acre this is rated for, and on longer grass it needs a second session to finish everything before the battery taps out. It gets there, just not always in one go. If your yard is comfortably under the max you'll be thrilled; mine is right at the ceiling so I'm being straight about it.

This is a really fair, useful review, Angela — thank you. At the very top of the rated area a second pass on tall grass is expected. Two things help: set a slightly higher cut height for the first few weeks so it isn't fighting long grass, and schedule it daily so it never falls behind. Our support team can also help tune the schedule for a max-size lot — reach out anytime. — SUNSEEKER Tech

QUIET IS THE BEST PART

55dB is no joke — I run it early morning and nobody complains. That's the whole review.

Love hearing that, Marcus — running it early without waking the block is exactly what we tuned that 55dB for. Enjoy the quiet mornings. — SUNSEEKER Tech

solid, keeps my lawn even

Been running about a month on my flat little lot and it's great. Only small wish is a slightly louder "I'm stuck" beep — I didn't hear it the one time it wedged on a stick. Otherwise no complaints, love that there's no wire to bury.

Fair point, Nathan — that stuck alert can get lost outdoors. You can bump the alert volume in the app under Notifications, and we're raising the default in an upcoming firmware push. Thanks for flagging it. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Great value with one nitpick

For the price this is a lot of mower. Quiet, tidy edges, easy start. My only gripe is I wish the strip pegs were a little longer — a couple worked loose in my sandy soil and I pushed them back in. Minor stuff.

Appreciate the honest note, Carla. Sandy soil is tougher on the pegs — support can send you a set of the longer anchor pegs at no charge, just reach out and mention this review. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Really happy, just wish the app connected on the first try

The mowing itself is excellent and I have zero complaints there. The only small thing is pairing my phone to it took a couple tries the first day — it timed out once before it connected. After that it's been fine, but the initial handshake could be smoother.

Thanks Tomás — glad the cutting's been flawless. That first-connect timeout is a known one, and toggling Bluetooth off/on before pairing usually nails it on try one; we're also tightening the handshake in the next app update. — SUNSEEKER Tech

does the job

Replaced an old corded electric and never looking back

Used to drag a corded electric mower around my postage-stamp yard every weekend, tripping over the cable, unplugging and replugging into three different outlets. This is a different universe. It goes out on its own schedule while I'm at work and I come home to a cut lawn. Vision AI actually dodges the kids' soccer ball too, which surprised me.

Bought it for my dad and he actually uses it

My father is 78 and mowing was getting to be too much for him. Got him the V3 because the one-button start meant I wouldn't be on the phone walking him through an app every week. He presses it, it mows, he's thrilled. Best gift I've given him in years.

Good starter robot for a tiny lot

First time owning one of these and I was nervous it'd be complicated. It wasn't. No wires to bury, no subscription, no base station to fuss with. Cuts my little patch clean and goes home by itself.

perfect for first-timers on a budget

First robot mower and I didn't want to spend a fortune to find out if I'd even like it. This was the right call. Simple, cheap-to-run, and my little flat yard has never looked so even.

Robert D.
Wasn't sure a mower without a boundary wire could work

Skeptic here. Every robot mower I'd read about needed you to trench a wire around the whole yard, which is exactly why I never bought one. The magnetic strip approach sold me — you just pin it down and adjust it. Been running six weeks and it hasn't crossed the line once. Consider me converted.

Good little machine for a small yard

Does what it says. My lot is right around a tenth of an acre and it keeps it tidy. Nothing fancy but it works every single day.

OPEN THE BOX, HIT THE BUTTON, DONE

I am not a tech person. I was dreading the setup. Nope — pulled it out, followed the little card, pressed the one button and it just went. My grandson was disappointed I didn't need his help.

Love this, Delores — the whole point of ReadyGo was people exactly like you not needing a grandson on standby. Enjoy the extra free time. — SUNSEEKER Tech

quiet is the killer feature

My neighbor didn't even know I had a robot mower until she saw it one morning. That's how quiet this thing is. Runs at breakfast, doesn't wake the baby.

finally stopped paying the neighbor kid

Small front yard, nothing fancy, and I just wanted to stop dragging the mower out every Saturday. The V3 was open-box ready in like ten minutes — laid the magnetic strip along the flower bed, hit the one button, done. It's genuinely quiet too, my wife didn't even notice it running while she was reading on the porch.

Finally cut the cord to my lawn guy

Dropped a $140/month mowing service after buying this. The V3 handles my little front-and-back flat lot without a hiccup, and honestly it looks better than the crew ever did because it goes out every other day. The magnetic strip took me about an hour to lay down, no digging, no buried wire nightmare. Paid for itself in three months.

Shauna B.
Great for flat, struggles on my one slope

Most of my yard is flat and it's flawless there. There's one short steep bit by the back step where it occasionally slips on damp mornings. Not a dealbreaker for a small yard but worth knowing if you've got any real grade — this is an entry model, not a hill climber.

Thanks Shauna — you're right that the V3 is built for flat entry yards, not grades. Morning damp on a slope is its limit. Appreciate the honest, accurate take. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Magnetic strips beat buried wire

Rearranged a flower bed last week and just moved a strip. Try doing that with a trenched perimeter wire.

From dreading mowing to forgetting about it

I've never enjoyed mowing. For years our small backyard was a Sunday-morning obligation I resented, especially in summer. We finally bought the V3 because it was sized for a little lot and didn't require any of the elaborate setup the bigger models do. Installation genuinely took under half an hour — the magnetic strips went down around the garden border and the kids' sandbox, the app walked me through mapping, and that was it. No trenching a wire into the lawn, no planting a base station, no fiddling with satellite signals. Now it runs on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule before we're even awake. The cut is even, the edges along the strips are tidy, and it's so quiet the dog stopped barking at it after day two. The one-button start on the unit is a nice fallback when my phone's dead. For a small, straightforward yard, this took a chore I hated and made it disappear. I haven't touched a mower handle in two months.

G
Grover S.
Vision AI handled my fence corners

Was skeptical a camera-only mower could follow my zig-zag fence line without wire. It maps the boundaries fine and keeps a clean edge along the pickets. Three weeks, no escapes, no stuck alerts. For a simple suburban backyard it's honestly all the machine you need.

D
Donny F.
Six weeks, zero drama

Honestly nothing exciting to report, which is the point. Small backyard, set the schedule, it runs and docks. The 55dB claim holds — I've stood next to it on a call and the other person didn't hear it. For an entry yard this is the easy button.

B

Whisper quiet on the patio

Runs while we read on the deck. You forget it's even out there until it parks itself.

Good, but the app login is clunky

Mower's great for my little lot. The app logs me out too often and I have to sign back in. Small annoyance on an otherwise solid machine.

Thanks Devonte — the frequent app logouts are a known issue and a fix is in the next release. Appreciate you flagging it. — SUNSEEKER Tech
