Self-driving-level Navigation Means

Stays Accurate When Real Life Happens

Open lawns are the easy part. Trees, narrow side yards, changing light, and signal reflections are what test navigation. The Sunseeker Orion X7 combines RTK with VSLAM to maintain stable guidance when RTK conditions vary, then follows systematic parallel mowing paths instead of moving randomly.

FAQ

Can the Sunseeker X7 avoid common yard obstacles?

The Sunseeker X7 uses Vision AI and anti-collision sensing to detect and navigate around common yard objects such as trees, rocks, garden furniture, toys, pets, and people. Obstacle detection depends on an object's size, height, visibility, and position, so the lawn should still be checked before mowing.

Solid, wanted the swap tool

Blades are great and the nav is superb; would've liked the swap tool included. Minor gripe on a big win.

Thanks Alistair — we hear you on assembly. A clearer setup guide is in the works, and support can send an updated walkthrough today. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Sharp finish all summer

Rotated blades mid-season and the cut quality never dipped across my big sloped lot. The bundle was the right call.

M
Marcus B.D.
Spare blades were the smart add-on

Bought the bundle with the extra blade kit and honestly that was the move. After a full season on 0.7 acres the first set got dull, swapped in the spares in about ten minutes with the little tool, and the cut went right back to that clean carpet look. Glad I didn't have to hunt around for compatible blades mid-summer.

A Red Dot winner that actually earns it

I roll my eyes at design awards usually. Not this time. The AONavi navigation is genuinely eerie how precise it is, and the AWD chewed through the wet slope in my back corner where my old Husqvarna used to spin out and beach itself. The dual floating blades leave zero scalping on the uneven parts.

Derek A.C.
Spare blades were the smart add

Honestly glad the bundle came with the extra blade kit. On three-quarters of an acre the stock set was fine for the first couple months, but having a fresh pack in the drawer meant a two-minute swap instead of waiting on a shipment. Cut quality snapped right back to crisp.

R
Robert D.
Blade swap is fiddlier than the video suggests

Love the mower overall, but I want to be straight about the blade change since that's a selling point of this bundle. The retaining screws on the floating discs are tiny and you really need the exact torx bit, not a generic one, or you'll strip them. First swap took me twenty minutes and some frustration before I found the right tool. Once you've done it once it's fine, but the quick-start guide undersells the learning curve.

Robert — you're right that the first blade swap has a learning curve and the guide should say so plainly. The correct bit is a T20 and it ships in the tool pouch; we're adding a clearer callout and a short how-to video link on the box insert. If your bit went missing, email us and we'll send a replacement free. — SUNSEEKER Tech

MY LAWN HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS SHARP

The floating blades plus fresh spares in rotation keep the edges of every blade of grass clean, not shredded. You can see the difference by the third pass.

Whisper quiet and precise

Neighbors didn't even know I was mowing. AONavi mapped my weird pie-shaped lot perfectly first try.

Great mower, wish blade storage was included

No complaints about performance. It maps my three-quarter acre accurately and the AWD climbs my side hill without drama. My only nitpick with the blade bundle is there's no little case for the spare set, so they're rattling around in a drawer. Minor thing, docked a star for the small stuff.

Angela — fair point on the spare blades needing a proper home. We're looking at a labeled storage tin for the blade kits, and in the meantime a magnetic strip on the garage wall keeps them findable. Thanks for the note. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Got it for my dad and he's obsessed

Bought the blade bundle for my father who's 74 and can't push a mower around his big yard anymore. He was skeptical for about a week and now he sends me photos of the stripes. The extra blades mean I don't have to worry about maintenance calls from him for a while.

S
Sandra A.W.
Big yard, small effort now

We have almost an acre and I used to spend Saturday mornings on a rider. Now the mower handles it during the week and I keep the spare blades in the garage for when the cut looks less clean.

M
Marcus A.W.
A Red Dot winner that actually mows

I'll admit I rolled my eyes at the design awards at first. Red Dot, Plus X, whatever. Then I set up the RTK base and watched it map my full acre in straight, overlapping lines with zero missed patches. Fine, it earned the trophies. The dual floating blades leave a lawn that looks striped like a ballpark. Swapping in the spare blades that came in the kit took me all of five minutes with the little tool included.

Marcus — love that the awards won you over in the yard and not just on paper. Those overlapping passes are exactly what AONavi is tuned for. Enjoy the striped lawn. — SUNSEEKER Tech

K
Kevin A.T.
solid, four stars

Does the job on my big yard and the extra blades are a nice touch. Docking gets confused once in a while after heavy rain but re-finds itself. Would buy again.

Kevin — appreciate the honest four stars. Post-rain dock re-alignment usually clears up with the latest firmware; make sure auto-update is on and the base station antenna has clear sky. Reach out if it persists. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Coming from a commercial zero-turn

I run a small landscaping side gig and used to do my own yard on a commercial zero-turn. Sold it. This X7 with the spare blade kit does the 0.75 acre cleaner and I never touch it. The dual floating blades follow ground contour way better than a fixed deck ever could, and having backup blades means no downtime when one nicks a rock.

M
Malik T.
Happy overall, cautious on the wet slope

I want to be fair here because I do like this mower. The blade kit is great, spares on hand for a big yard just makes sense, and the wire-free perimeter saved me a weekend of digging. My reservation, and why it's three stars, is that on my steeper back slope when the grass is wet it gets a little cautious and occasionally hesitates or reroutes, so I've learned to schedule around morning dew. It's manageable and a firmware update improved the traction logic some, but I'd steer clear of pretending it's flawless on wet inclines.

Honest and fair, Malik — wet slopes are the hard case, and scheduling around dew is the right instinct. The recent firmware sharpened the traction logic and we're still improving wet-incline handling; no overselling it. Thanks for keeping it measured and for the blade-kit love. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Great once running, base placement was trial and error

The blade kit is the right call and the tool-free swap is exactly as easy as advertised. Four stars because I underestimated the RTK base — took me a couple of tries to find a spot with clear enough sky before signal held steady, and my first placement under a big oak was a mistake. Moved it out to the open and it's been flawless since. Just a heads up for anyone with mature trees.

The big-oak lesson gets a lot of folks, Bianca — clear sky is everything for the base. We've got a placement guide that shows good spots; glad the open location locked it in and that the blade swaps are treating you well. — SUNSEEKER Tech

REPLACED MY LAWN GUY

Did the math after two months. This paid for itself versus what I was handing the mowing service every week. Cut quality on my acre-ish lot is better than they ever gave me.

T
Terrence H.
cut quality holds up

What impressed me is the blades staying sharp long enough, and when they don't, I've got the spares right there. Even cut across a bumpy lawn thanks to the floating blades. No wire to bury either.

G
Greg L.
Very good, small learning curve on the app

Great machine, cuts beautifully across my big lawn and the AWD handles the hill by the driveway. Docking one star because the app scheduling menu isn't super intuitive at first — took me a couple tries to set no-mow zones. The spare blade bundle is genuinely useful, glad I sprang for it.

Greg — appreciate the honest note on the scheduling menu. No-mow zone setup is something we're streamlining in the next app update, and there's a quick video in the help center that makes it click. Enjoy the spares. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Came off a Husqvarna Automower

Ran a Husqvarna for four seasons and the boundary wire was the bane of my existence. Every aeration or edge trench meant a splice repair. Went wireless with the X7 and the RTK setup was a one-afternoon job. Coverage on my 0.7 acre is more even, and I like that the bundle threw in spare blades since my last mower's replacements were always overpriced.

A
Angela A.F.
Bought it for my mom's place

She's got a big yard and can't manage a mower anymore but hates the idea of strangers coming by. Set the X7 up on my last visit, ran the wire-free perimeter, and left the spare blades in her garage with a sticky note on how to swap them. She managed it herself last week and called me proud as anything. Worth every penny for that.

That sticky-note swap story made our day, Angela — glad your mom's got her independence back and that the tool-free change was simple enough to do solo. Give her our best. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Clean cuts, sharp blades on hand

The AWD is the real deal on my rolling terrain. Bundle came with spares so I rotated a fresh set before fall and the mulching stayed crisp.

Robert — love hearing the AWD is pulling its weight on the rolling ground. Rotating in the fresh blades before fall is exactly the right call for a clean mulch. — SUNSEEKER Tech

C
Curtis L.B.
GOOD BUY BUT I WANT MORE BLADES

Love the mower, the wire-free perimeter is genuinely slick, and the AWD handles my rolling backyard great. Only nitpick and the reason for four stars — on a lot this big I burned through the first set quicker than I figured and honestly wish the kit came with an extra pack of spares. Not a dealbreaker, the swap is dead simple, I'd just rather over-stock. Reordered already.

Big lots do chew through blades faster, Curtis — that's real. We're looking at a larger spare pack option, and in the meantime keep an eye out, we'll make sure reorders are quick. Glad the perimeter setup landed easy. — SUNSEEKER Tech

P
Priya F.N.
AWD earns its keep on my slope

Back corner of my lot drops off pretty hard and my old mower used to spin out there. The X7 just walks up it. All-wheel drive is not marketing fluff on this one.

E
Ellen K.
RTK setup took a minute but worth it

Four stars only because getting the RTK base station positioned right was more trial and error than I expected — had to move it twice to get a clean sky view. Once it locked in though, flawless. The spare blades in the bundle are a nice safety net and swaps are painless. Just wish the manual was clearer on base placement.

Ellen — fair point on the base station placement, that's the #1 thing people ask us about. We're reworking the setup guide with clearer sky-view diagrams, and support can walk you through optimal positioning any time. Enjoy those spare blades. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Dropped the mowing crew, no looking back

Between the crew's bill and their spotty schedule, the math was easy. The X7 handles my three-quarter acre daily and the blade kit means I keep it cutting clean without any thought. The wire-free perimeter was up in an afternoon.

T
Tony B.
swap in, swap out, done

Blades dull faster than you'd think on thick fescue. Having the spare set on hand is clutch.

big yard, no problem

Three quarters of an acre and this thing just handles it. Set it and forget it.
