Stays Accurate When Real Life Happens

Open lawns are the easy part. Trees, narrow side yards, changing light, and signal reflections are what test navigation. The Sunseeker Orion X7 combines RTK with VSLAM to maintain stable guidance when RTK conditions vary, then follows systematic parallel mowing paths instead of moving randomly.

FAQ

Can the Sunseeker X7 avoid common yard obstacles?

The Sunseeker X7 uses Vision AI and anti-collision sensing to detect and navigate around common yard objects such as trees, rocks, garden furniture, toys, pets, and people. Obstacle detection depends on an object's size, height, visibility, and position, so the lawn should still be checked before mowing.

I've had it for 3 years

I've had it for 3 years. Was skeptical at first but never a problem. It totally works on my .65 acre lawn. Highly recommended. It's nice to have a product that does what it was supposed to do

Awesomeness!!!

Love these! I have an X7 for the back yard, about 1/2 an acre and an X3 for the front yard. These are awesome, but more importantly, the support I received was outstanding. They even followed up a few days after. That feels unheard of in today's market.

Working great

At first I was kind of disappointed but my problem was I really didn’t know what I was doing it wasn’t the mower’s fault
I am pushing 70 years old so not to tech savvy
Bottom Line is if I can set it up. Anyone can. My grass looks great probably best it’s looked I push the start button and it does it’s job actually I send it out every day
I love the technology

Best purchase for my new home

I just purchased 1.5 acres and after a lot of research on lawn mowers, gas and robotic, I decided to purchase the Sunseeker! As a single woman in my 50s this has been the smartest investment I’ve made for my new home. Cheaper than a gas mower, saves me hours a week that I can then work or do other chores while ‘Sunny’ mows. I don’t have to buy gas and I can change the mower blades in 1/2 hour every 2 to 3 months.
No lines to bury because of the gps and an easy setup makes this easy for anyone to start.
If you want a great lawnmower that makes your life easier, this is the way to go!

Highly Recommend Sunseeker AutoMower

I am a 100% disabled veteran and yard work is hard for me. I have owned another brand of AutoMower before that I paid a large sum to have someone install and bury wires in the yard etc. I recently purchased the Sunseeker X7 Plus and could not believe it was so easy to install. I plugged in the base and the RTK and within 30 mins or less I was piloting my C7 Plus around my yard like a remote control car with the app from my phone. It was easy to navigate my yard and easy to create no mow zones and corridors as well. And it even mows in straight lines so my yard always looks freshly mowed. And the edging feature is incredible as well. This is how auto mowers should be made. I highly recommend this product. We named ours Barney! 😊

Life-Changing Upgrade — Should Have Bought This Sooner!

The X7 Robot Mower has genuinely changed my life. This is one of those rare products I now look back on and think, why didn’t I do this sooner?! I used to pay over $200 a month for lawn service — and still had to handle the trimming, edging, and blowing myself. When I tried doing it all manually to save money, it came at the cost of my time, pulling me away from my kids and the things that really matter.

Now? The robot is on a schedule, doing its job like clockwork and keeping our lawn pristine. I still handle the finishing touches, but the bulk of the work is automated — and the results are phenomenal. We regularly get compliments, and I’d confidently say we now have the best-looking lawn in the neighborhood.

I truly can’t recommend a robot lawn mower highly enough — and the X7 is in a league of its own.

I love this thing! Its on its second day of mowing and doing a great job. Has only got stuck once but it was because I cut it too close to a boundary that should had been off limits. It leaves great stripes in yard and just works great! Highly recommend!

Will recommend

I bought the Orion X7 robot lawn mower a week ago. It takes care of over 90% of the mowing, leaving me with just trimming and edging. My yard looks pristine every day. I only wish I had bought it sooner!

Good mower, obviously still a

Good mower, obviously still a few kinks in the software but cuts and does a good job. I wish the battery lasted longer as it doesn't completely cut the whole front or back on one charge. App could use a few updateded features like click on more a zone of choice instead of cutting everything at once, or having to run a schedule. The RTK system works well with a relatively quick set up and good reliability.
8/10 rating. Over all very happy with product and i am aware it is a new product and issues will happen.

RTK base setup went smoother than I feared

Mounting the RTK base station was the part I dreaded, but the instructions were clear and I had signal locked in about half an hour. Big yard, roughly three quarters of an acre, handled with ease.

L
Latoya A.B.
Why did I wait so long?

Three quarters of an acre used to eat my whole Saturday. Now I watch the game while a Red Dot winner does it for me. That's the whole review.

Great machine, firmware hiccup early on

I want to be fair since the mower is genuinely impressive and the AWD is superb on my hilly three-quarter acre. Early on I hit a firmware bug where it would occasionally pause mid-route and report a false lift error. A support ticket and an update resolved it completely, but it was frustrating for the first week before I figured out an update was available. Worth flagging for new buyers to update firmware right away.

Angela — thanks for sticking with it and for the straight talk. The false lift-error was a known early-firmware issue and you're right that we should surface the update more aggressively out of the box; we're changing the setup flow to prompt the update before first mow. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Bought this for my dad and he's obsessed

My father is 72 with a big yard he refused to give up mowing himself, and I worried about him on the riding mower. Got him the X7 and set up the RTK base station on a visit. The AWD handles his sloped back acre, the dual blades give a finish he actually brags about to his buddies, and I stopped losing sleep over him. The award-winning design is nice but honestly the peace of mind is priceless. He calls it his little tractor.

Danielle — this is the kind of note that makes our week. Getting your dad off the riding mower while keeping his lawn something he's proud of is exactly why the AWD and dual floating blades exist. Give him our regards. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Excellent, base station placement matters

Terrific mower and the AWD earns its keep on my terrain. One tip that cost me a star of frustration: get the RTK base station location right the first time, because a spot with partial tree cover gave me flaky signal until I relocated it to open sky. After that, perfect. Just plan the mount carefully.

Sandra — great tip, and you nailed the fix: open sky for the RTK base makes all the difference. We're adding a signal-strength placement guide to the setup wizard so folks get it right on the first mount. — SUNSEEKER Tech

NEIGHBORS ALL ASK ABOUT IT

Quiet enough that I run it while the grandkids play in the yard without worry, and it navigates around them safely every time. The award pedigree got my attention but the safety sensors are what keep me a fan.

Hiroshi A.T.
Very good with a learning curve

The hardware is award-worthy for sure. Docking one star because the initial mapping run took me two attempts to understand what it wanted, and the manual could be clearer on the base station calibration step. Once I got it, smooth sailing.

Hiroshi — thank you for the candid feedback on the calibration instructions. We're rewriting that section of the manual with clearer step-by-step visuals, and our support line can walk you through remapping anytime. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Strong mower, one honest caution

I'll lead with the good: coverage on my big yard is complete, the AWD is legit, and the floating blades handle my rolling ground beautifully. My constructive note is around wet slopes — on the damp incline near my pond it gets cautious and I've learned to schedule that area after the dew burns off. There was also a small firmware quirk early on where it'd occasionally re-plan a pass oddly, but an update a few weeks in cleaned that up. Measured 3 only because the wet-slope caution needs planning around; if that's not your yard, this is easily a 5.

Appreciate how fair this is, David. You're right on both counts — the wet incline near your pond is where traction turns conservative, and scheduling it after the dew clears is the right call. Glad the firmware update smoothed out that re-planning quirk; that's exactly the kind of thing our updates target. If you'd like, support can share base-placement and zone tips to tighten up that pond section further — no excuses, just want it working the way it should. — SUNSEEKER Tech

Very happy, small setup note

Great mower for a large lot. Only thing worth mentioning is it took me two tries to find a base station spot with a clear enough sky view — once I moved it away from the big oak, precision locked in perfectly. Would buy again.

That oak will do it every time, Rebecca — clear sky for the base is the trick and you nailed it on the second try. Appreciate you flagging it for others. — SUNSEEKER Tech
